Taks Handling Systems opens subsidiary in Canada

Starting this autumn, customers in North America will be able to use the new full service and sales department from Taks Handling Systems in Leamington (Canada). For more than 15 years Taks Handling Systems is active in Canada and the United States of America.

Taks Handling Systems is one of the leading manufacturers of (post) harvest logistic solutions for greenhouse horticulture, fruits and vegetables. Like all high-grade harvest processing and packing systems for internal transport, sorting, packing, palletizing, tracking and tracing. “Together with the high quality of the equipment, the service has always been very important for us” said Arie Meeuwissen, CEO of Taks Handling Systems.

The North American greenhouse, vegetable and fruit industry developed very well the last decade. The companies become bigger and the need for more efficient and reliable solutions expands. Every day, our R&D department is occupied with innovations which are designed to increase efficiency in harvest processing and internal transport according to Arie Meeuwissen. Efficiency and labour savings are key words for successful solutions in this design phase too.

Thanks to the experience we have gained over the past 15 years in Canada and the United States of America, we know what the market asks. This has resulted, among other things, in the ability to convert our turnkey solutions into a modular range. So Taks quality becomes accessible to everyone. These modules can also form the starting point for a final customized product according to Arie Meeuwissen. Taks Handling Systems offers a blueprint for efficiency for everyone!
